A common question we are asked is " Why is this beam so much more than your 8ft beams". The reason for the cost difference is the beams weight, construction method and cost to ship. This beam weighs 140 lbs vs 42lbs for our 8ft beams. Because we have a longer span between the beam legs the beam must be much stronger and a different construction method and additional materials are used. The weight capacity also increases to 300 lbs. Because of the length of the beam it must be shipped with a freight carrier as opposed to FedEx or UPS and this substantially increases the cost to ship. It is shipped in a large wooden crate to eliminate damage.

STANDARD TWO YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY: The manufacturer warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of two (2) years for the original invoice date. Shipping and handling fees are to be paid for by the customer. The manufacturer agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge (except for a fee for shipping, handling, packing, return postage, and insurance which will be incurred by the customer). Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase as confirmed by showing the model number on the original dated sales receipt.
